Frequently Asked Questions

  • I provide individual psychotherapy for adults struggling with trauma and chronic stress.

  • The phases are consistent, but the pacing varies from person to person. Some people move through all three phases in several months; others take longer. Some might skip a phase based on their goals and treatment preferences. What's important is that there's a clear completion point we're working toward; you won't be in therapy indefinitely without direction.

  • We move to Phase 2 when you have stable coping skills, can regulate your nervous system most of the time, and feel safe enough in your body and in our therapeutic relationship. We'll assess this together - you won't be rushed, and you'll have a voice in when we move forward.

  • That's actually quite common. Many people have been in talk therapy for a long time without targeted trauma work. This phase-based model gives structure to what might have felt aimless. We'll honor what's been helpful and add what's been missing.

  • A 50-minute session is $150, and an 80-minute session is $190.

I offer a sliding scale for those needing lower cost care.

  • I don’t currently take insurance but I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement for other plans.
